New Session Information, Prices, & Senior Info.

The new session information and options that begin Jan. 1, 2008 have now been posted. The new session policy requires a deposit when booking a session. I have had an increased demand for my services and when people book and cancel sessions, it takes a time slot that someone else may have inquired about and then leaves me with no one to photograph. So, read about the session deposit policy under the information tab on my homepage (in the session information section under that information tab).

There are great new session options including on location options and tiny tikes options to fit every photography need.

Also, new prices start Jan. 1, 2008. My lab costs have gone up and these prices will reflect these costs and the time it takes to create a quality picture for my customers.

Seniors to be! I have posted my information and prices for new packages. There are some great deals and cool new options (Including image release CD's that allow you to print unlimited copies of your photos or use them on the web for your facebook and myspace pages.).

AND Seniors, if you book back to back sessions on the same day with a friend and select the same Senior package, you both will get an additional $25.00 off your order (and can shoot more photos together and make your sessions really fun).

One last thing, I will be offering some great model discounts and products to the first few 2009 seniors who book a session, so check here to see what they will be and when they are taking place.

Christmas Pics

These girls came after Thanksgiving to take their Christmas pictures.

I did pictures for the girls about 6 months ago, and the younger girl didn't like to have her picture taken then. Well, their mom worked with them over the last 6 months and both girls came in smiling like pros and finished their session with lots of good pics in record time. The first picture is of Carmen in May and the other pictures are from the Christmas session we did in November.

Stephanie

Stephanie is a senior at IHS. We shot these photos outside my studio in October when the fall leaves were at their best!

Evan

Evan is a CVHS Senior. Evan plays football for the bullpups and, as you can see has those great eyes.

Chase

I am sooo behind on posting! Chase is a FKHS senior.

We did some really cool skateboarding pics of Chase at the Independence skate park. I got some great shots of Chase in the air, on his board and on his backside on the ground :) I will be posting the skateboard pics soon, but for now here are some other neat shots of Chase.

Fall is here!!!

For those of you who want the beautiful fall colors in your outdoor pictures, I am starting to really notice a change in the trees. I think the cooler weather may just let it start to look like fall. Remember it takes about 1-2 weeks to edit pictures and 1 week to get an order back, so plan your session accordingly if you want your photos in time for Christmas cards or gifts. I am booking up quickly for the weekends in November, but can still make time to do afternoon or evening sessions. Be sure to call to ensure we get the best time for you. The calendar on my website is deceiving. It shows me booked for the entire day, even if the session is only for 2 hours in the afternoon, so call to see about availability.

While grandma and grandpa were here this past weekend, I took the time to get some pictures to use on our Christmas card. Here are how the shots of Ryan and Allison turned out.

I have just a few spots left for 2008 seniors! Chellbe drove over from Cedar Vale to get her pictures done in studio. I think she is going to like the pictures!

2009 Seniors (and parents of 2009 seniors)!

O.K. 2009 seniors, you are halfway through your Junior year. Deadlines for Senior photos approach quickly, so it is not too early to be thinking about your photos! Don't wait until the last minute and scramble to get photos. I will be sending out information in January about new specials, items, and prices. Remember, I always plan a senior consultation to make sure you get photos that reflect the true you. All photos are edited before online proofing, so you see exactly how the final product is going to look. There is no extra charge for enhancements, black and white photos or blemish correction. There is also no reorder fee if you find you need to order more photos later in the year.

There will be special discounts and items for those who book early.

Baby Week

It seems to be baby week here! Yesterday I had a studio session with this cutie who is about 3 months old. Check out his huge brown eyes! This little guy was an awesome model, and even fell asleep on cue, giving us the chance to get the peaceful, sleeping baby pics.

This weekend I get to meet an even younger baby, who will be about 3 weeks old when we take her pictures. Check back next week for more sneak peeks, I have four sessions scheduled over the weekend and will post previews as I get done with the editing.

For those of you who want more sneak peeks of my great looking clients, you can go to the Gallery Samples on the printroom site. This gallery is not password protected and is titled Gallery Samples (great title, huh!). The individuals in the Gallery Samples have all signed model release forms to allow me to share their best shots with you. So, if you are hesitant to get your picture taken because you are afraid I might post you online for all the world to see, don't worry, I will never share your images without permission. :)

Here are some photos from a session I did over the weekend with Katie. These are some of my favorites of her so far. In some of her photos she reminds me of Marsha Cross (the actress from Desperate Housewives), I love the red hair in the outdoor setting! I will post more as I edit them, so check back soon!

Guys don't wait too long and miss the chance to get your stuff to the yearbook on time Photo editing takes about 1-2 weeks and then once your order is placed, it will take 1-2 weeks to arrive). Sessions are still available and are painless. Bring some music, a friend or girlfriend, whatever it takes to make the time fly by and help us get some great photos of you! Don't forget to think about what props and locations might reflect your personality (cars, sports gear, skateboards, band instruments, a picture at the lake, ball fields etc). Remember blemish correct and other photo corrections are available at no extra charge.

Too Cute

These two cute kids did a session in late July. They were soo adorable and fun to work with. I learned about a turtle they had seen earlier in the day and got to hear all kinds of interesting things! In the one shot the little girl (age 1) kissed her brother (age 3) while he was lounging back. As you can see these two are too cute.
